Your Money, Your Power was created primarily for young adults, including young people aging out of foster care or entering adulthood without consistent financial guidance.
It breaks down everyday money concepts into practical, understandable information—without assuming someone was taught these things at home.
Topics include budgeting, banking, credit, saving, financial decision-making, understanding everyday financial systems, and asking the right questions when you don’t know something.
The goal isn’t to tell young people what choices to make. It’s to give them enough information to make informed choices for themselves.
Rebuilding Financial Independence
Financial education for women rebuilding after domestic abuse.
Financial abuse can leave someone facing much more than a budgeting problem.
A person may be rebuilding access to accounts, understanding debts, repairing credit, learning what is in their own name, creating financial boundaries, managing income independently, or making financial decisions after years of having someone else control them.
SYTN is developing an adult financial education resource specifically around that experience.
It will focus on practical financial knowledge, rebuilding independence, understanding financial systems, and creating the information and tools needed to make decisions moving forward.
